Accessibility
A website built for every visitor.
Statement reviewed: 10/08/2026
The Window Source of Austin ("we," "us," "our") wants https://windowsourceaustin.com/ (the "Website") to work for everyone who visits it, including people who browse with assistive technology. This statement sets out the standard we hold the Website to, the steps we have taken and how to reach our team if anything stands in your way.
1. The Standard We Follow
Our target is Level AA of the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2 (WCAG 2.2). Those guidelines set out ways to make online content easier to use for people whose disabilities affect vision, hearing, movement or cognition.
2. What We Have Done
- Clear page headings, labeled form fields and link text that says where each link goes.
- Text alternatives on images that carry meaning.
- Color contrast that keeps text, buttons and controls easy to read.
- Keyboard access to menus, pop-up dialogs, expandable answers and forms, with a visible focus outline.
- Layouts that hold together when you enlarge the text with your browser's zoom controls.
- Animations that honor the reduced-motion setting on your device.
- Automated testing plus hands-on keyboard and screen reader checks of our pages.
3. Known Limitations
Some content supplied by other companies, like the embedded Google map and the social media sites we link to, may fall short of our standard. We weigh accessibility when we pick these services, and we give you the same information another way: our phone number and office address appear on every page as plain text.
4. Continuing Work
Accessibility work never really finishes. We recheck pages whenever the Website changes and correct problems when we find them.
5. Feedback and Help
Call us if a page, form or feature of the Website is hard to use, or if you would like information in another format. Describe the page or control that caused difficulty so it can be reviewed, and our Austin team will help you by phone with a question, a service area or a free assessment.
