Sliding patio doors
A slider that rolls smoothly and holds the heat outside.
The 1600 Series door we install rides a raised rail on two tandem nylon wheels, and the raised design keeps debris clear of them. The insulated glass reduces glare and heat from the sun in hot weather, and it earns ENERGY STAR status in each of the four climate zones.
Two or three tracks
Two-track frames are 4 7/8 inches in depth, while three-track frames measure 6 7/8 inches.
StormArmor package
Pairs a metal interlock with impact-resistant, argon-filled HP Low-E glass for a sturdier opening.
Double or triple panes
With insulated glass the inner pane stays nearer room temperature, so winter cold spots fade away.
Blinds inside the glass
Blinds sealed between the panes control light and privacy, and you can choose flat or sculptured grid profiles.

Patio Doors FAQs
Patio door questions homeowners often ask.
Find out about glass, fit, security, operation and the options on offer ahead of your home visit.
A sliding door moves within its own frame, so it needs no room to swing. That helps when patio furniture, grills or a walkway sit close to the opening.
Compare the clear opening, how the screen works and how easy the track is to reach and keep clean, then weigh those against the way your family uses the patio.
The threshold carries water away, bridges the change in floor level and forms part of the weather seal. A good assessment looks at all three before the new door is ordered.
That depends on the exposure. Ask which insulated glass options make sense for a sunny back wall compared with a shaded one.
